June bought a secondhand SMT-12 record press in 2024 for the price of a decent used car, moved it into a unit on Ledger Lane, and spent the first three months learning why nobody else had wanted it. LUMORA is the result.
Before the plant she worked in a picture-framing shop and briefly, unhappily, in logistics. Both turned out to be useful. She still frames the first test pressing of every colour pair and hangs it above the trim station.
She writes the Plant Notes and most of the Listening pieces, and she will tell you, unprompted, that side B should always open with the second-best song.
